For 9 months, the 100+ years-old Astoria Blvd Station on the N/W was closed for a near-complete station rebuild. People were not terribly happy about it.

 Track maintenance and other station renewals on the line had been common cause for delays for several years, and no one expected this major disruption to end on-time.

 But it did. Mostly.   When the station re-opened on schedule, we wanted to use the blue construction walls that would remain until work was completed to let riders know what they'd gained in the process, and what was still on our to-do list.
